→ To Serve

12 - 1 lemon, cut into wedges
13 - 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

# Directions:

01 - Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 20 minutes if using to prevent burning on the grill.

03 - Add shrimp to the marinade, toss thoroughly to coat, and let sit for 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature.
04 - Thread shrimp onto skewers by piercing through both the head and tail ends to form a C shape, ensuring even cooking.
05 - Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat, approximately 400°F.
06 - Grill shrimp skewers for 2 to 3 minutes per side until shrimp are opaque throughout and lightly charred.
07 - Remove from grill, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top, sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired, and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The marinade comes together in literally three minutes but tastes like you planned all day
  • Shrimp cook so fast that weeknight dinner feels fancy without the effort
02 -
  • Do not overcook shrimp, they turn rubbery fast and I learned this the hard way at my first dinner party
  • Metal skewers cook shrimp faster than wood, so check them a minute earlier
03 -
  • Pat the shrimp really dry before marinating so the spices actually stick
  • Leave the tails on if you want them to look fancy, but remove for easier eating
