Frozen Yogurt Berry Granola Bars (Printable)

Cool, creamy yogurt bars topped with vibrant berries and crunchy granola for a refreshing no-bake treat.

# What You'll Need:

→ Base

01 - 2 cups granola, low sugar preferred
02 - 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
03 - 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted

→ Yogurt Layer

04 - 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
05 - 2-3 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
06 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

→ Berry Topping

07 - 1 cup mixed fresh berries
08 - 1 tablespoon chia seeds

# Directions:

01 - Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, allowing overhang on sides for easy removal later.
02 - Combine granola, honey or maple syrup, and melted coconut oil in a medium bowl. Mix until all ingredients are evenly coated.
03 - Transfer granola mixture to the prepared pan. Press firmly and evenly across the bottom using the back of a spoon or spatula to create a compact base layer.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, honey or agave syrup, and vanilla extract until completely smooth and well combined.
05 - Spread the yogurt mixture evenly over the pressed granola base, using a spatula to create a smooth, uniform layer.
06 - Distribute mixed berries evenly across the yogurt surface. Sprinkle chia seeds over the top for added texture and nutritional benefits.
07 - Place the pan in the freezer and chill for at least 4 hours, or until the bars are completely firm and set.
08 - Remove from freezer and lift the slab out using the parchment paper overhang. Let sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to soften slightly before cutting into 12 bars with a sharp knife.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The contrast between creamy frozen yogurt and crunchy granola creates the most satisfying texture
  • You can prep these in under 15 minutes and let your freezer do all the work
  • They feel like dessert but pack enough protein to qualify as breakfast
02 -
  • Press the granola base harder than you think you need to or it will crumble when you try to slice the bars
  • Letting the bars sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes before cutting makes all the difference between clean cuts and a crumbly mess
  • These thaw fast so serve them immediately after removing from the freezer
03 -
  • Run your knife under hot water between cuts for the cleanest slices
  • If your yogurt layer seems too soft add a tablespoon of chia seeds to thicken it up
