# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The Boursin does all the heavy lifting, so you get a genuinely elegant meal with almost zero effort.
  • It transforms plain salmon into something that tastes like it came from a French bistro with a ten dollar price tag per plate.
02 -
  • Do not overbake the salmon because it goes from silky to dry in just a couple of minutes, so start checking at the 15 minute mark.
  • Letting the Boursin sit at room temperature for ten minutes before mixing makes it infinitely easier to spread without tearing the fish.
03 -
  • A sprinkle of crushed pink peppercorns over the cheese before baking adds a subtle floral heat that elevates the whole dish.
  • Check your Boursin label for allergens if you are serving guests, as some varieties contain trace ingredients you might not expect.
