Beef Sliders Cheese Pickles (Printable)

Mini beef patties with melted cheese and tangy pickles on toasted fluffy buns, perfect for casual meals.

# What You'll Need:

→ Beef Patties

01 - 1.1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
02 - 1 tsp salt
03 - 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
04 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
05 - 1/2 tsp onion powder

→ Sliders Assembly

06 - 8 mini slider buns
07 - 8 slices cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)
08 - 16 dill pickle slices
09 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted (for toasting buns)
10 - 1 tbsp ketchup (optional)
11 - 1 tbsp yellow mustard (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
02 - In a bowl, combine ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.
03 - Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and shape into small, flat patties slightly larger than the buns.
04 - Grill or pan-cook the patties for 2–3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
05 - In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover briefly to melt.
06 - While the patties cook, brush the cut sides of the slider buns with melted butter and toast them, cut side down, on the grill or skillet until golden.
07 - Place a beef patty with melted cheese on the bottom bun, top with two pickle slices, and add ketchup or mustard if desired. Cap with the top bun.
08 - Serve immediately while warm.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Everything fun about burgers but in adorable two-bite form that somehow tastes better
  • The butter-toasted buns make these feel like something from a really good diner
  • Cheese melting down the sides while pickles cut through all that richness
02 -
  • Don't press down on the patties while they cook, you are just squeezing out all those precious juices
  • Toast the buns until they are genuinely golden, not just warm, because that texture keeps them from getting soggy
03 -
  • Make a small indentation in the center of each raw patty to prevent them from puffing up into balls while cooking
  • Let the patties rest for a minute or two after cooking so the juices redistribute instead of running out immediately
